About the event
Bruno Schmidt operates in a space where the usual rules don’t really apply. His record selection leans into the unexpected, records that feel pulled from somewhere deeper rather than cycled through trends. There’s a clear intention in how things are put together, nothing overplayed, nothing sitting where you expect it to. His productions follow the same line: stripped, functional, but with enough character to shift the room without forcing it.
He doesn’t follow trends or soften the edges, sets unfold gradually, sometimes unsettled, always controlled in where they land.
What he brings isn’t easy to trace or replicate, and that’s the point.
